Life as a homeless student presents many obstacles. For the kids staying in our shelters, obtaining school supplies can be a burden.
You can ease the stress of a new school year by providing good quality, sturdy backpacks for both young children and teenagers. Additionally, gift cards in $10 denominations will allow moms to go shopping with their kids to buy the specific items their teachers have requested.
Help prepare the students in our shelters for another school year! Drop off backpacks and gift cards at 1224 E Trent Ave. in Spokane or 196 W Haycraft Ave. in Coeur d’Alene. For more information, call 509-535-8510. ●
