This summer, friends like you helped provide a safe, loving environment for underprivileged children in our community. Your camp sponsorships fostered caring relationships and instilled the confidence of being known and loved.
Campers participated in water games, songs, crafts, archery, and the brand new Crandell Adventure Challenge Course! Along the way, they formed healthy friendships and were connected with a local church community that will continue to invest in them year-round.
“I loved that I got to see most of my friends, and that I got to explore the outside because I don’t see it very much in the city, that I made new connections, and most of all free food.”
“I really had fun this week and my favorite things were floating the river, swimming, canoeing, the food, learning about Jesus, and the cabins and night games.”
“Thank you for keeping us safe. I love everything about UGM. I love the cabins and the river. I also loved catching fish. I also loved the crafts and learning more about God.”
We’re thankful that kids could experience the joy and safety of UGM Camp. Even more so, we rejoice knowing they heard the good news that their lives have eternal purpose because of Jesus. We believe this truth has the power to break harmful cycles and change generations of families.
This year, 233 of 410 Campers accepted Jesus into their hearts, more than any other summer. Isn’t God faithful? Thank you for helping us share the gospel with young, at-risk kids. Your generosity and compassion have shown them the hope of Jesus and the new life He has set before them.
Let’s continue praying that their futures will be filled with the provision that only He can provide.
