"You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me." – Psalm 139: 5
When Yvette found out she was pregnant, she was homeless and addicted to drugs. She had already lost custody of her two older children. An abortion seemed like the only answer. A counselor at iChoice pregnancy center told Yvette about the Women's Recovery Program at Anna Ogden Hall. While waiting to get in, Yvette had a tempting offer from an old boyfriend to move to Florida and set up house, but she chose recovery. With beautiful and eternal consequences. Her baby, Hunter, spent the first year of his life surrounded by a houseful of loving women while his mom learned about a relationship with Jesus Christ, her personal worth, boundaries, parenting and how to cope with life's struggles. Yvette is nearing the end of her program and preparing to move out on her own. "I have Christ in my life now. I'm a new person. I think differently. I act differently. It's a new beginning. Hunter's future will be forever changed."
