“The enemy got his hooks into me early. I’d been using for roughly 40 years.”
Spring break missions group from the Evangelical Free Church in Bozeman, Montana
What are your plans for spring break? Some people go skiing or head to the beach. Nothing wrong with that, but the extraordinary group of people pictured above have made it their habit for the past nine years to spend the week doing work projects at UGM Camp.
"It's a great opportunity to serve," said Brianna, 15.
Isabella, 10, explained that, when you stay home, "It's hard to think of anything else to do besides video games."
And, Weston, 15, said it's a double blessing - "shining the light of Christ" and having fun at the same time. "It's so much fun being able to serve with friends. You're working, but in the company of friends, which makes it so much better."
The pictures below show this group hard at work - painting the inside of the dining hall, putting a new roof and new steps on the bathhouse, raking the grounds, and more.
Jenny and Ken Weddle, the camp's caretakers, said they feel extremely blessed by this group's faithfulness. "We've watched some of the kids group up - whole families come to help!"
Tell us: Have you been on a mission trip during Spring Break? How was it? Where did you go? What did you learn?
