Gratitude in Recovery
One of UGM’s core values is Thankfulness, and this month we reflect on the pursuit of gratitude in our day-to-day lives and in the work of healing...
It’s that time again. Help us fill our pantry for the coming year. The drive, which runs from October 1 through November 30, will focus on a few items of which we can never seem to get enough:
We use these items every day and find ourselves running low on them throughout the year. You can help keep that from happening. Here’s how:
Step 1: Contact leadership at your church or business and see if they’d be willing to partner with UGM in our Fall Food Drive. (Call our resource coordinator for a flyer with all the important information – 509-532-3815 )
Step 2: Ask a leadership representative to call UGM to arrange for barrel delivery. (Same number as above.)
Step 3: Your church or business will be assigned one of the above items. Collect as much as you can. (Optional: Turn it into a competition. Make weekly announcements. Take pictures with your donations and post them on social media with the tagline: #UGMFallFoodDrive.)
Step 4: We’ll pick up your barrel the first week of December or, if you fill it before that time, we can pick up your full barrel and drop off an empty one.
