Volunteers Providing Welcome
UGM’s volunteer case managers stand on the frontlines of ministry, offering listening ears and wise counsel to men and women in crisis.
Valley Real Life is a faithful partner of Union Gospel Mission in reaching the poor with the love and power of the gospel. In addition to putting up a giving tree with our top needs last December, they utilized their coffee bar to educate the congregation about UGM Camp. Kelli Dexter, who serves on the Missions Team, said they choose a ministry to spotlight each month and give everything over and above the coffee bar’s costs to that ministry. It’s just one of the ways they give outside the four walls of the church, she said.
The proceeds from the coffee bar were enough to sponsor 24 children from the area’s low-income neighborhoods for a week at UGM Camp.
