TAKE ACTION: become a UGM Intercessor

UGM-Intercessors

Prayer is a fantastic way to partner with the Union Gospel Mission in caring for the homeless…for SO MANY reasons:

  1. This ministry is completely dependent on God. Ultimately, He provides the funding; He heals the sick; He binds the broken heart, and He transforms lives. Talking to Him about the work just makes sense.
  2. Through prayer, you bear the burdens of residents, volunteers and staff alike. Sometimes, entering into each other’s lives can be messy. God promises that prayer distributes the load.
  3. Philippians 4 tells us that peace results from prayer, and peace is exactly what our shelters need.

If you and/or your small group would like to commit to praying for our residents with some specificity, we’ve put together a few tools to help you. Contact Dave Wall, Director of Community Engagement, and ask for the “UGM Intercessors” packet (dave.wall@uniongospelmission.org or 509.532.3806).
