Jack Kendrick and his wife, Linda, got involved at Anna Ogden Hall more than 12 years ago after their daughter challenged them to reach out to people in need.
However, Jack himself ended up in a dark place after he was diagnosed with cancer and lost his wife within the span of two years. “You don’t have to be homeless to be hopeless,” Jack says. He attributes divine intervention for bringing him out of his despair and motivating him to give sacrificially to others.
When Jack heard about the plans for a new UGM Center for Women and Children in Coeur d’Alene, he had to get involved. In 2012, Jack funded the rescue side of the Center.
He continues to give to the Center in memory of his wife and has beseeched his friends and family to give in her honor, as well.
Jack is one of the incredible people who make it possible for UGM to minister to the lost and broken.
We are thankful to all of our ministry partners for their devotion, compassion and generosity.
