Partnering with the Community to Feed the Hungry

CyrusOLearysThere’s no way we could serve over 360,000 meals per year at a cost of under $2 per meal without the help of our generous partners. It truly takes a community.

Quality Transport

One of the challenges of making use of donated food is getting it from point A to point B. Last year, Cyrus O’Leary’s helped us meet that challenge by donating one of their refrigerated trucks.

“We have had a great relationship with the Union Gospel Mission almost from the inception of our Company. For many years their clients labeled packages for us and we enjoyed helping each other. Last year we were trying to sell a few of our refrigerated trucks and the UGM had an interest in one of them. We decided to donate the truck to them not only as a way of supporting their cause, but to say ‘thank you’ to Spokane, whose citizens have been strong supporters and loyal customers of Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies! We are grateful each time we see that truck driving around town picking up food to feed the hungry, knowing that we were a part of helping others.” – Dennis Dipo, President, Cyrus O’Leary’s Pies
